Shipping and Returns

Same Day Delivery
Same day delivery is only offered to those within the Melbourne Metro Region and is required to be ordered before the delivery times as outlined below.

Orders Monday – Friday:
Orders must be received before 12:00 p.m. Melbourne time to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

Orders Saturday:
Orders must be received before 10:00 a.m. Melbourne time to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following business day.

Orders Sunday and Public Holidays:
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays and Public Holidays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

These cut off times do not apply to busy floral events including (but not limited to) Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Please check with us for the order cut off times for these days.

While we try to deliver your order at the requested time, it is not possible to guarantee that these times will be achieved. There are often local reasons why an order cannot be delivered within your preferred time frame (for example, courier delivery times). If the flowers are for a timed event (for example, a funeral or business location), we will do our best to assist. However, we strongly recommend that you provide us with an alternative address so the flowers can be delivered elsewhere if too late for the timed event.

A local delivery fee is added to each order, for each address. Flowers In Melbourne will try our best to ensure your flowers are delivered on time to the right location. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses, secured buildings or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. We do not deliver to PO BOX or LOCKED BAG addresses.  

Unfortunately, we cannot offer same day delivery or deliver to some locations due to their remoteness. Some deliveries may be required to be collected from the store, if this is the case the recipient will be notified.

Refunds/Returns

Typically, fresh flowers should last between 3 and 7 days, although this depends on type of the flower, climate conditions and care for flowers. Should your flowers arrive damaged, and we are satisfied that all care instructions provided have been followed, Flowers In Melbourne will be happy to resend new set of flowers. Flowers In Melbourne reserves the right to request photos or images of the original flowers. Flowers In Melbourne requires that any dissatisfaction with the freshness of the flowers be communicated to our Customer Service within 24 hours of delivery.

To assist us in quality control, it is our policy to collect the original flowers. Unfortunately, we cannot resend fresh flowers to you if the original flowers are disposed of or images are unavailable.

If the recipient receives damaged or sub-standard flowers, please contact us immediately so that we can arrange one of the following:

  • a re-send on the next available delivery date; or
  • a full or partial refund 

Flowers In Melbourne will not offer both a refund and a resend. Where flowers have been damaged we will normally ask for them to be returned or for photographs clearly showing the problem so we can use them to determine what is going wrong with our system, and to claim compensation if possible from our courier, or supplier. It is important that we are contacted as soon as possible regarding issues. We will, at our discretion consider issues raised after the 24-hour deadline but reserve the right to refuse the options of refunding or resending the order.

In the event that a small item, such as a balloon or vase, should arrive damaged or be missing, we shall be unable to resend that item but would be happy to refund its value.

It is important to note that this guarantee does not confer the right to an automatic 100% refund, but only to a fair resolution.

Time frame – If a refund or redelivery has been approved, this will be done usually within 24-48 hours.

Refund Method – Refunds will only be made in the original payment method

Flowers In Melbourne will not accept change of mind returns on any of our products. In order to qualify for returns or refunds there must be some fault with either the product or the service provided.
